Owners: Jeremy & Casey Kendrew
Jeremy & Casey have owned and operated Dittmer Collision Repair since January 2021, with sole ownership from October 2025.
Jerry has been in the trade since 2007 and worked at Dittmer Collision Repair for 15 years. He holds a Trade Certificate in Panel Beating and Automotive Refinishing and has I-CAR Platinum ProLevel® 3. Attaining and retaining I-CAR Platinum has enabled Dittmer Collision Repair to gain I-CAR gold status (highest available) in recognition to dedication to training and technology.
We are dedicated to the future of the Motor Body Industry and the latest technology in repair and production and are both active members of the Collision Repair Association and Motor Trade Association.
Office and Workshop Staff
We have 25 staff at our Palmerston North workshop: 8 panel beaters, 5 painters, 1 mechanic, 1 restorer, 1 detailer and decal technician, 1 groomer, 1 parts storeman, 2 office staff and 5 managers. We are committed to on-going industry training for all of our staff, including the latest Manufacturer and I-CAR techniques.
Reliability and Skill
We are a Certified Structural Repair Centre (administered by the Collision Repair Association). This qualifies us to make structural adjustments to a vehicle’s chassis. We are members of the Collision Repair Association and their C-CAR (Continuing Compulsory Annual Retraining) Programme and are also part of the Quality Assurance Program.
We are a preferred repairer for all the major insurance companies, but we also complete work for any insurance company, not limited to: IAG (State, NZI, AMI, AON, ASB, BNZ, Lantern, Lumley, NAC, Co-op), FMG, Vero (AMP, ANZ, Autosure), Toyota, Tower (TradeMe, Club Auto, Fintel) Youi, Medical Assurance Society, Ando and Zurich; and we are the regional repairer for all corporate vehicle leasing companies (Fleet Partners, Custom Fleet and Leaseplan)
